Becoming an Umpire

People choose to become umpires for a variety of reasons, including enjoyment of the game; to participate in the game; for fitness; to learn the rules of Baseball, and to help their club or association.
If you become a member of the Baseball Umpires Association of South Australia you can meet, interact with and learn from many people from different backgrounds and ages in meetings and in theoretical and practical training sessions. You can also attend BUASA's social events which is a great way to get to know other umpires and have fun.
